

Edward William Speisser, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026. He was born on February 13, 1944, and lived a long life defined by hard work, kindness, and a deep love for his family and community.
Ed was a devoted husband to his wife, Margaret Eleanor, and a caring father to his two children, Edward Thomas Speisser and Charlotte Elizabeth Oneal. He was also a proud grandfather to Ryan Oneal, Ashlee Speisser, Kaylee Speisser, and Bailee Speisser. He was blessed with many great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will carry on his memory.
He is also survived by his loving siblings, Ann Holdman of Utah and Steve Speisser of Barstow.
Ed was well known in the Barstow community as the owner and operator of Tomahawk Furniture in Lenwood. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and friendships, never meeting a hand he didn’t want to shake. His warm personality and genuine spirit made him a familiar and welcome face to many.
In addition to his business, Ed dedicated over 45 years of service to the Marine Corps Logistics Base, demonstrating commitment, reliability, and pride in his work.
Above all, Ed was a family-oriented man—caring, generous, and full of heart. He will be remembered for his kindness, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared so freely with those around him.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
