

Frank was born on September 13, 1924 in Chicago, Ill to Frank and Lillian Vessels. He served in the Army/Air Force from 1942 until he was honorably discharged in 1946. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Theology at Emanual Missionary College in 1948. On May 30,1948 he married Gladys Bell Thompson. They raised four children, Frank, Steve, Cheri, and Kitty.
Frank dedicated his life to the ministry and served as a pastor in many Seventh-day Adventist churches in Illinois, Ohio, and California. He retired from the ministry in 2010 when they moved to Loma Linda, CA. Frank continued to minister to others through his gift of origami.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys. He is survived by his four children, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
On Tuesday, June 13th, burial with full military honors with be rendered at 10:30 AM at Riverside National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 13th at 3:00 pm at the Azure Hills SDA Church located at 22633 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, CA.
