Gilbert S. Hernandez, 79, of Barstow, CA, Passed away on June 16, 2016. He was born in needles, CA on June 24, 1936. Gilbert attended Needles High School. He was married to Carmen G. Hernandez on August 8, 1964. Gilbert worked at Santa Fe Rail Road for 42 years. He had a passion for sports and gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents Jacinto and Ester Hernandez and 2 Brothers Ernesto and Ruben. He is survived by his wife Carmen and 6 Children George, Susan, Robert, Gilbert, Rosalinda, and Carmen, by 23 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, his 3 brothers Alfred, Refino, and Richard, and many relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on June 27, 2016, Visitation will be from 9am to 11am and service at 11am will be held at Mead Mortuary 36930 Irwin Rd., Barstow, CA 92311. .
