Gloria Jean Torres

Gloria Jean Torres was born on October 04, 1948 in Seven Mile Plaza, Colorado. She graduated from Rio Grande high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1967. She married Nino Torres in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 18. Together they shared 52 years of marriage and raised 3 children in Barstow/Daggett, California.

She is survived by her husband Nino Torres; her son Ray Torres and his wife Perri Torres; her son Nathan Torres and his wife Mimi Torres; her daughter Erica Serafin and her husband Angelo Serafin; her grandchildren Paul, Whitley, Melinda, Mathias, Tyler, Ryan, Saraya, Serenity, Elias, Isaias, and Arya; her great-grandchildren Peyton, Edward, Jordan, Mackenzie, Abrielle, Ariany, and Austin.

She passed away surrounded by family on June 5th, 2020 at the age of 72 in Loma Linda, California. She will be missed and remembered for her love for sewing and gardening. She loved her family dearly. She was the most loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Services to be held at Daggett Community Center on Saturday June 20 at 2pm.
