Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 5, 2018 at Mt. View Cemetery with Deacon Joe Moorman of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church officiating. Arrangements by Mead Mortuary.
Jeff was born in Barstow, CA to Garvey & Muriel on May 19, 1958. He married Helen on July 12, 2006 in Apple Valley, CA. He graduated from Barstow High School. He worked as a HVAC for the Marine Corps Logistics Base retiring in June 2016. He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force. He was involved in conducting bible study at his mom’s house. Jeff received many outstanding awards for his expert performance of duties prior to his retirement.
Jeff is preceded in death by his dad Garvey Shaw and step dad Alvaro Alcantara.
Jeff is survived by his spouse of 11 ½ years Helen; children: Lyndsey, Jeremy, & Robert (Jacky). Brothers & sisters Andrea (Alex), David, Beatrice (Eoby), Phillip, Mark (Kristen), Susie (Michael), & David Lowman (Nancy). His mom Muriel Alcantara, mother in law Virginia Ledet. Grandchildren: Claire, Noah, & Penelope. Numerous nieces and nephews.
