Johnnie Marie Turner, born on July 12, 1936, in Greenville, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 89. A resident of Barstow, California, Johnnie was known for her thoughtful and hard-working nature.

She was an inspirational figure to all who knew her, demonstrating loyalty and patience throughout her life. Her wisdom was cherished by family and friends alike, and she was a devoted presence in their lives.

Johnnie Marie Turner will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves awaiting the return of Christ, 1 sister Lela Mae Day, 4 brothers Charles Norman and wife Joyce, Francis Elijah, Alfred Elijah, Richard Elijah and wife, 4 sons Loy Turner Jr III, Eric Turner, Garnell Oliver and wife Betty, Oliver and Alfred Lee Turner, 5 daughters Mary Ann Freeman and husband Kenneth Freeman Sr, Dorothy Burton and husband Kenneth, Willie D Gilder and husband Willie F, Rose Hill and husband Clarence White, Stephanie Petty and husband Joseph, along with a host of grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
