Juan Salas Santos March 27, 1930 - January 20, 2015 Juan Salas Santos, 84, a resident of Barstow, passed away on Jan. 20, 2015. He died of respiratory failure. He was formerly employed with BNSF Railroad as a material supervisor for 30 years. He was an Army disabled veteran, a 49 year member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Soledad Santos; children, John Santos (Peggy) of Barstow, Phyllis Evans (Orlando) of Texas, Florence Marquez (Louie) of Barstow, Diana Nelson (Dave) of Riverside, Leonard Santos (Anita) of Corona; sisters, Martina Cruz of Barstow and Annie Terlaje of Georgia; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View. Religious services will be held on Friday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mt. View Memorial Park.
