Judy Ann Garcia, age 80, of Barstow, California passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Judy was born June 11, 1940 in McCarty's, New Mexico. She belongs to the water clan of Acoma Pueblo. She was married to Harold Garcia and they had ten children. She worked at various jobs, at Barstow Community Hospital in the kitchen, motels as a housekeeper and front desk. She lived most of her life in Barstow and lived in Utah for many years. She moved back to Barstow one year ago. She was a homemaker and loved to watch her daily shows and listen to her favorite country music. She was a beautiful women who will be missed by all of her family.
Survivors include children Kathy Manilla of Barstow, Debbie Garcia of Las Vegas, Harold Garcia Jr. (Christina) of New Mexico, Melissa Rodriguez (Enrique) of Barstow, Kerina McCulloch (Robert) of West Valley City, Utah, Marion Hernandez, (Juan) of Pauma Valley, Ca, David Garcia Reeseman (Shon) of West Valley City, Utah
Grandchildren: Holly Baca (Edward), Manuel Gallegos, Jonathan Manilla, Michael Garcia (Nicole), Amanda Johnson (Erin), Ronnee Johnson, Carleen Garcia, John Garcia, Bernadette Vesper (James), Jessica Rodriguez, Vanessa Rodriguez, Kassandra McCulloch (Stephanie) and Andres Hernandez.
Great- Grandchildren: Joyce Throenle (Jonathon), Cheyenne Redding (Dewayne), Kateriana Baca, Luann Baca, Dimitri Baca. Great-Great Grandchildren: Jonathon Throenle Jr, Max Throenle, Frankie Throenle, Oliver Throenle, Sophia Throenle, Torrance Garcia, Scarlett Garcia, Arron Redding, Griffin Redding and many others including adopted and foster grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Harold Garcia Sr., daughter Joyce Garcia and sons, Albert Garcia and John Garcia
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. too 4:00 p.m. Thursday March 11, 2021 at Mead Mortuary Chapel, 36930 Irwin Road. A Rosary will take place at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 12, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 505 E. Mountain View St. Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park.
