Mr. Lewis "Lou" Joseph Petty II

Lewis "Lou" Joseph Petty II, of Barstow, California passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the age of 35. known to many as Lou had a genuinely kind spirit and humble heart. Lou was born on September 23,1986 in Barstow, CA. He was the son of Elisabet "Betty" Petty and Lewis Joseph Petty. He spent his childhood growing up in Barstow, CA and most of his adult life in Las Vegas. He is survived by his brothers, Alan Petty, George Petty and his sister Nicole Padilla.

He was kind to everyone, he never forgot to say please or thank you, he held open doors and gave his seat to the elderly, the handicap, and women. a true gentlemen lewis was. All of these things his mother taught him, he took them straight to heart.

Lou to many was an old soul and should had been born way before his time as he enjoyed watching old shows in black and white which was favorite pastime for him and his mom. However Lou was an all around type of person who loved history, he loved watching Jeopardy and would get almost every answer correct, and a big Sports fan among his favorite teams to watch were The Dodgers baseball team. The Lakers basketball team and The Eagles football team.

Lou was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was his sisters black pug named Kobe Bryant Petty who he nick named "the black mamba" and pitbulls Arya and Loco whom he cared for daily.

Simply stated ,Lou was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Lou leaves behind him a long legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Lewis Joseph Petty ll.

Visitation and Service information is provided below, followed by a reception in honor of lewis at Hi-Desert Word Center, 30918 Soapmine Rd. Barstow, CA 92311. viewing will be at 10 A.M and servives start at 11:00 am.m march 17th, 2022
