Hello everyone, WOW and shock were my first thoughts (selfish of me), then I could only imagine how Paula and family must have felt. I have been reading over all the memories, stories, and kind words from everyone. One common topic is the way Marcus cared for everyone. It was never a second thought for him, if you needed help Marcus was on it! And he truly cared as you all have experienced. I will always remember his big bright genuine smile. If you were down, he would bring you up with his positive attitude. So, I know at this time, he would not want all of us to be down and sad, he would want us to remember the good times we all had and appreciate the time we have with each other in the present. Keep in the moment now, cherish every moment now with your family, friends, coworkers, everyone. All our lives are fragile, tomorrow is not guaranteed, or even the next hour or minute. I will miss you Marcus, your time here was profound, you took care of your family and friends without a doubt, you will be missed…… Love you Brother and I know we will see each other again. 

To my brother Marcus! I am still sourting through this reality that you are gone but my God knows why my brother! He needed you to accomplish another mission away from your family and Ft Irwin, that is the hard part to swallow my friend. You can rest assured my brother that as long as I am alive you will be remembered and I will speak your name Sir!  Thank you for always being there for me and my family over the past 20 years when I needed you, you never said NO, gratitude my brother and safe journey home until we meet again!
To his family, be proud of this man, talk to him when you miss him, and by Gods grace,  I promise you will smile after because he will be right there listening and smiling at you with a smile that only Marcus has to give you to help and guide you along your Journey! 

When my mom passed away your house was my 2nd home. It was a way for me to free my mind of that pain and have fun with my cousins! You would always school me n phil on things in life and choices and i respected that! Ill always remember those rides in the expedition heading to silver lakes to go swimming listening to jim crow"holla at a playa" we will all miss you deeply marcus aka MR.LIKE I SAID!!! Till we meet again much love!

Marcus…I just heard, and I’m shocked. I’ll never forget our conversations and stories shared. The love you had for your boys…and the joy you gleamed when you became a grandfather. I have so many memories that I will hold near and dear. May you rest in peace, my friend.

We had are moments and learned from them and when we did get together we sure did have some good talks. Thank you for believing in me and all the advice that you’ve given 

You will truly be missed by the many people that knew you personally. I only knew you for short three years but within those three years I learned that you were a man of integrity, a great leader and a caring man. You never stepped down to challenge what was right. You cared for all your co-workers by sharing food, water, or just a simple hug to show your gratitude for all that surrounded you. I enjoyed my three years as one of your teammates. I always enjoyed coming into work and tracking you down to tell you and Anthony the joke of the day. I will always remember your smile and laughter after each joke. I leaned on you for many challenges that we faced within the warehouse, and you always stepped up to the plate to make things right. You were a true warrior in my eyes. My deepest condolences to your family and friends. I have one last joke to share with you. Just because I know I will hear your laughter and see you smile. 
One Sunday morning in the local church, the preacher stood up in front of the congregation and explained that their church needed money for needed repairs. The preacher informed the congregation that whoever donated the most money could pick three hymns for the day. The donation plate went around to collect the donations. When the preacher received the donations, he found a check for $1000 and was very excited. So, he shared the news to the congregation and asked that the one who donated this money to identify themselves. An elderly woman in the back of the church raised her hand. The preacher asked if she could come to the front of the church. Once she got there the preacher thanked her and praised her for donating such a large amount of money. He then told her due to her great love for the church that she could pick out three hymns for the day. Her eyes got big, and a smile came across her face. As she looked over the congregation she pointed out to the group and said, I will take him, him and him....... I love you man! Chief Harbor

I cannot find the words to express my feelings for the loss of such an amazing caring person Marcus Jackson is. We worked together at the warehouse Ft Irwin and again at Production Plant Yermo. He was my friend and Co worker,  we had a special relationship as we found out we could talk and discuss our work and home situations and knowing our conversations were never shared.. We kept in touch through messages with just a hi or Im thinking of you, how are you doing... I will never forget you and I love you and how you always respected and protected me against the bad ones! LOL..You will always hold a special place in my heart. Wilma Miller

Out so much at work and out of Work. He is one person that will never be forgotten and always thought of and Loved. I love you Marcus.

The most down to earth, thoughtful man i’ve ever met. Marcus took me into his home with open arms, he loved me because his son Brandon loves me. I’ll always always always miss you blasting your music & singing at 7am man 😔  your boys will continue to live through you! you will never be forgotten, ever. 🤍

Seeing you smile ear to ear and to be in the city you were born in was amazing. I’m going to miss all your guidance and advice in this time I need you, I am going to keep making you proud! I am so happy that I was able to make it to San Francisco with you to watch the game, Seeing you smile ear to ear because of the time we were having, I want to Thank you for making me the man I am today I did not expect not to come back home to you 😞💔 I just want you to know I love you! To my father, my whole life I wondered and asked my self why is he so hard on me 
Why does he always get on me and no one else 
I almost thought you hated me! Haha
But as I grew older i grew into everything you were tryin to build me to be! And that’s a man 
And you surpassed that goal! I grew up to be just like you
I’ll never forget my last day with you, even tho it was only a few hours it was better then a life time to enjoy that time with you! 
Wish we had a chance to have more

Dad, I love you so much. I still don’t want to believe this. I miss hearing your voice, I miss you randomly popping up to my house, I just miss everything about you! You weren’t supposed to go out like this dad ! Please look out for all of us up there.
