Mrs. Margaret A Hooper

November 9, 1933–February 19, 2022

Margaret Ann (Cash) Hooper, 88, of Barstow, CA, went to heaven on February 19th, 2022. She was raised in San Diego by Anna and William Henry along with her 8 amazing brothers and sisters. She married the love of her life, Jefferson Davis Hooper, on August 6th, 1950. Together, they made a home for their 8 children: Jeff Hooper (Sue), Debby Lee (Kenny), Lynda Hooper, Richard Hooper (Sherry), Steve Hooper (Nancy), Dan Hooper (Kim), Dennis Hooper (Michelle), and Matthew Hooper (Trina). She was “Nanny” to 28 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Margie was a gift to the world and a blessing to all who knew her. She always had a cake made and a meal on the stove for whomever popped by, welcoming them at the door with a sweet smile and a warm hug. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. We are so thankful for the way she molded us and loved us so well. We are forever grateful for her selfless love.
