Maria A. Gil

Maria Gil, born December 10, 1930 in Mexico passed away after a brief illness on May 19, 2019 in Lucerne Valley, California. Maria was kind to everyone she met. She had many friends whom she welcomed into the family, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Maria loved to cook and greatly enjoyed feeding all that came into her home. She also enjoyed tending to her garden of roses that she loved to share. She is survived by a brother, Eusebio and sister Concha, her children Jorge (Rosa) Frances (John) and her son Joseph, her grandchildren Christina, Johnny, Sara, Mike, great grandchildren Andres, Kamila, Mason and Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews. Maria was preceded in death by her husband Alfonse Gil and 4 siblings.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, California 92311. A rosary will occur Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, California 92311. A mass will occur Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, California 92311. A burial will occur Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Mt View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311.
