Maria "Annie" Jaramillo age 77, of Barstow, a bright light passed from this earth on the afternoon of 5/12/2020. She was born in Valencia, New Mexico, 9/27/1942. . Many knew her to be kind, generous, and the life of the party. The Lord said she had "done well and enough" and called her home. Her family knew her to be "everything for everyone". She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and husband. She is survived by her brother Adam Chavez married to Fred Van Patten, her children Michael Melrose married to Virginia Melrose, and her daughter Yvonne Wilhelm (Melrose) married to Wilton Wilhelm, Grandchildren, Paul Melrose, Whitley Alva, Melinda Magiera, Mike Wilhelm, Jussine Melrose, Ashley Wilhelm, Morgan Wilhelm, and Taina Melrose. Great-grandchildren Peyton, Edward, Mackenzie, Jordan, Eleanor, and Austin.

Annie worked for Fidelity moving for over 45 years and still served on the board. Annie was a member of the Moose Lodge, and Eagles. She was generous and served her friends and family with what they needed when they needed it when she was able. She was a good mom, sister, auntie, and prayerful grandma.

I knew Annie through her brother Adam who is married to my brother, Fred Van Patten. She was always so sweet and kind when I had the pleasure of being with her. If the world had more people like Annie, we’d have a much better planet :-)). 💕✝️💕✝️💕

Our last trip thru Barstow, we ran into Annie at the hairdressers. She had the kindness, spunk and energy as always when we met her as before. We will always remember this run in with her.
