Michael Jesse Robles

Michael Jesse Robles beloved Father/Husband also known to some as “Mike” passed away unexpectedly at Barstow Community Hospital on June 17, 2023 at the age of 44. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Franco, his three young beautiful children Michael Jeramiah Robles, Mariah Janessa Robles, Makayla Jaylynn Robles, his grandmother Lucy Felix, his siblings Stephanie Tafoya, Savannah Tafoya, Manuel Michael Robles, Selena Robles and his Stepmother Vicki Robles along with many nieces and nephews.

Michael was born in Apple Valley, CA on February 7, 1979 and was raised in Barstow, California, where you might have known him as "Robles'', “Mike” or “Jesse”. He met his high school sweetheart Eleanor Franco where they later had three beautiful children. He played basketball while attending Barstow High School and made experiences that he later shared with his lovely family. Michael created a lifelong passion for trucks, music, and sports. He truly cherished his 4 wheel drive lifted 2016 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ z71, he looked after it well, and even took pictures of it. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and watching the Raiders and Dodgers play. He was overjoyed to see Michael and Mariah participating in their favorite sports, baseball and softball. Mariah's favorite "Canes" was always waiting for her when he picked her up from school. He also loved taking his son Michael at night to their In-n-Out runs or Amigos. He would blast music everywhere he would go. His top artists he enjoyed listening to were, Ice Cube, 2pac, and Too short, as he drove his family through the desert to go see the races. After a long day, Red Lobster and Red Robin were his two go-to restaurants.

He worked at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base in 2009 he then later moved to the Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) -Barstow where he continued to work there. In April 2023, Michael started a new job with SWRFT in Yermo.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Vincent and Carmen Rodriguez and his parents Manuel Michael Robles and Marina Rodriguez. His sister Samantha Tafoya, his uncle Eddie Fuentez and his two best friends David Navarrette and Efrain Navarrette.

Services for Michael will be held on July 14, 2023. Located at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10am. Reception after the mass at the Noonan Hall.
