Pedro Fuentes Villalobos of Barstow passed away early Saturday morning on September 29, 2018. He was 91 years old. Pedro was born on October 29, 1926 in Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico to Maximo & Fortunata Villalobos. Pedro married Cecilia Lomeli December 9, 1954 in Mexico. They were married 64 years. Pedro had the love of his family. He was an amazing, dependable and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Pedro had a very large heart and was willing to go out of his way to help everyone. He loved us all unconditionally and will be greatly missed.
Pedro was blessed with 6 sons Valentin (Dulcy), Enrique (Hollie), Roberto (Sylvia), Pedro (Cindy), Daniel (Laurie) and Ruben (Maria). Pedro leaves 16 grandchildren; Robert (Joanne), Grace (Matt), Melissa (Andy), Joseph, Vanessa, Enrique (Serena), Alisa, Nicholas, Daniel, Issabelle, Victoria, Paul, AJ, Jane (Steven), John and Gabrielle (Anthony); and 17 Great Grandchildren Aryana, Christopher, Deagon, Alexus, Serena, Ethan, Jameson, Elijah, Brooklyn, Brea, Gable, Isaiah, Paul, Alivia, Peyton, Parker and Paxton.
Pedro was employed at Santa Fe Railway as an electrician for 36 years and retired in 1988.
Pedro enjoyed repairing TV's, doing electrical work, and wood working. Pedro also enjoyed traveling to Mexico for several months during each year. Pedro is preceded in death by his son Pedro "Pete’, brothers and sisters; Canuta, Jobita, Isabel, Andrea, Esteban, Nicolas, Teofila, Juan, Bartola, and Jose.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at
St. Joseph Catholic Church
505 East Mountain View St., Barstow, CA 92311.
Viewing will be at 9 am
Rosary will be at 10 am
Mass will be at 11 am
Reception immediate following after gravesite services at Noonan Hall
Pedro will be laid to rest in Mt. View Memorial Park
