Roberto Rodriguez, age 54, of Yermo, California passed away on Sunday June 28, 2020 in his home. Roberto was born October 2, 1965 in Barstow, California to Guillermo and Clara Rodriguez. Roberto worked for the US government as a mechanic for 14 years.

He is survived by his children, Jaysen, Daniel, and Mario, his ex-wife and dear friend Teresa, his father Guillermo, and his siblings, Fred, Maria, Anita, and Juana.

Services are pending at this time. He will be laid to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery.

Biography

If anyone ever cared, really cared for someone else it would have to be Roberto Rodriguez. He was a warm hearted and well liked individual, and these wonderful traits came easily to him because he was such a sociable and amiable person, someone who was always making certain that those around him had whatever they needed. Roberto was a talkative person who was tactful at all times but typically said what he meant.

Roberto was born at Barstow Community Hospital in Barstow, California on October 2nd, 1965. He was the son of Guillermo and Clara Rodriguez. Roberto was raised in Newberry Springs, California. During his childhood he learned to be reliable and respectful. These admirable qualities would become a part of Roberto's personality throughout his life.

Roberto was raised with six siblings. He had his brothers, Louie, Fred, and Manuel, and sisters, Maria, Anita, and Juana. His youngest brother Manuel however, passed away when he was very young. Roberto and his siblings had the typical rivalries while growing up, but they cared deeply for one another.

Roberto was a faithful and loving person. Some would even call his sentimental and a romantic at heart. His kindness and consideration radiated an aura of warmth to those around his. Compassionate and devoted, Roberto worked hard to make his new life partner happy.

If Roberto was anything, he was definitely a family man. He was blessed with three children, Jaysen, Daniel, and Mario. He loved his kids very much and did anything he could to help them in life and to make them happy.

His high moral standards and traditional values served Roberto well with his faith. Religion and faith were important to him. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church his entire life. He was well respected because he was such an outgoing individual who sought to help in any manner he could.

Roberto passed away on June 28, 2020 at home with his family. Roberto fought against COVID-19. He is survived by his sons, Jaysen, Daniel, and Mario. His ex-wife and dear friend Teresa, his father Guillermo, and his siblings Fred, Maria, Anita, and Juana. Roberto was laid to rest in Riverside National Cemetery.

Roberto was a fantastic conversationalist who could engage just about anyone in a discussion. And whenever he said something, he meant it. Roberto was a down to earth person, outgoing and gregarious. He was without question the type of person who enjoyed experiencing things first hand. He was practical and sensible, but what friends and family will remember him for most is his contagious laughter and his ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. Everyone whose life he touched will miss Roberto Rodriguez.
