Tom was born and raised in Parsons Kansas. He joined the Marine Corp just out of high school and served during the Vietnam war. He was honorably discharged after serving for 3 1/2 years. He eventually moved to California where he later met the love of his life Lulu Savoie. They married and had 4 children together.
Thomas Moore was a musician, most notably a guitar player. He learned to play by ear as a teenager and was very talented.
Thomas Moore spent the last 31 years taking care of his Down Syndrome son James Moore, until September the 23rd 2021 when James died from pneumonia driven COVID-19. The day after his son passed, Thomas was admitted for the same disease at Barstow Community Hospital. He fought the pneumonia driven Covid-19 for two weeks, but his lungs never recovered. He passed away peacefully at Barstow Community Hospital. He loved our Lord Jesus Christ and through his music and passion for God, he led many others to Christ.
Thomas Moore is survived by his wife Eleuchia Moore, his daughter Tera Moore, his daughter Melissa Petruncio and her husband Jeremy, his son Kurt Moore and his wife Nakiah, and his son Christopher Moore. He also had 11 grandchildren. He will be buried with honors and with his son James Moore at Riverside National, but because of Covid-19 restrictions, only immediate family will be able to come to the services.
The family will hold a celebration of life for the both of them at a later date and will invite extended family and friends to come pay their respects/condolences at that time.
