
Mrs. Victoria Donilia Armendarez Gibson went to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving morning, 27 November 2014. Loving mother, daughter, sister, and wife was born 13 August 1963 in Barstow California. She attended Kennedy Jr. High, Barstow High, Barstow College, and Central Texas College. Victoria married her soul mate, a military man who took her around the world, raised a family, and worked 20 years as a Civil Service, U.S. Government employee. She lived in and worked for the Army in Schwabisch Hall, Germany when the wall came down; 160th SAR, Newport News, Fort Eustis Virginia; and Methodology and Analysis Directorate, Operational Test Command, Harker Heights, Fort Hood Texas. Hobbies included: unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and unconditional love and support for her family, pets, and friends; boating and camping at the lake; cross country road trips; old western movies; softball; and completing 5K races with family and friends. She has joined in heaven her father, Valentin (JR.); grandmother, Flora; and nephew, Mark. She is survived by her husband William; daughter Rosalinda; son Joshua and daughter in law Michele and grandson Patrick; mother Donilia (Donnie); brother Miguel and sister in law Neveen; Aunt Ida; father and mother in law Bud and Dot; sisters in law Deborah and Mary; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be terribly missed, but we know we will see her again in heaven. Services will be held at 1030, Thursday, 11 December 2014, at Meads mortuary in Barstow California. Burial site will be Mount View Memorial Park cemetery, Barstow California. Instead of flowers please send donations to Ovarian Cancer research.
