My heart goes out to Michelle and all who love Will. As the mother of Michael Brown, watching the friendship develop between Will and Michelle and Mike and Kelly brought me a lot of joy, and then watching it develop into that of “chosen family” was a true blessing. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of love and respect than Will. A true lover of life, a true spreader of joy to everyone who crossed his path, a servant’s heart. Rest In Peace.

Will (Will Da Bomb Bomb) has been such a positive wonderful friend since we met decades ago. Will was such a warm caring person and a fierce friend! He loved his family and friends deeply and we loved him! I will miss Will physically here on this earth, but I will hold dear our shared memories. Will you know we will have Michelle's back!!

Will was such a gracious and kind person. He always had a few minutes to spend chatting at church. It was a blessing to know him. He will be missed.

Will, I love you, my friend. I keep trying to find the words to describe how great a friend you have been, but every word I try to use falls short. Friend doesn't capture what you mean to me. You are my brother. Our families have shared so many memories. We have celebrated good times and leaned on each other through bad times. I miss you very much, but I know we will all be together again. Until then, rest easy my friend.

Dear Michelle,

Cheryl and I send to you, family and friends our heart-felt condolences upon hearing of Will's recent passing. We know that he fought the good fight and did whatever he could to get well. Now he is in God's hands, but we will cherish the great memories we have of him. Cheryl and I look back fondly on the time in 2011, when the four of us went to Las Vegas for a Jimmy Buffett concert and had a great time. I still have--and wear--my Parrott Head Club "Last Man Standing" tee shirt.

May God sustain you during the difficult days and months ahead.
May it help to know that you are loved by many.

We will miss you, Will!

One day, I was at Denny's and the Desert Inn was on fire. Of course, everyone inside goes out on the sidewalk to watch and the guy standing next to me stated, "A fire isn't a fire until the ladder goes up!" Sure enough, the ladder went up and we all had a big ol' laugh.

The next week, I started a job at the City of Barstow and here comes this same guy bouncing down the hall happy as can be! Little did I know, Will Henderson in Engineering would show me how to fully enjoy the outdoors and brought a new light on places I've been but had never experienced in all its greatness. Yosemite, Zion, Grand Canyon, White Water Rafting, Margaritaville and even Gusto's on Main St. contain some of my best memories! We'll have lunch again one day my Pal.

Will, you will surely be missed! I will miss talking about the Walking Dead, you calling me "grandma", and all the stories about the amazing hikes you and Michelle took. You were such a special soul and you lived a beautiful live. When you retired we were all sad but understood why you needed to go, but everyday we missed seeing your smiling face. Wishing your family the strength to get through these times. Those we hold closest to our hearts never really leave us, they live on in the kindness they shared and the love they brought into our lives.
God Bless you Will!
