Most beautiful Angela Lee Worrick-Burdick brought radiant light, boundless joy, and deep compassion to everyone she touched. Tragically and unexpectedly, Angela passed away at the age of 40, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Angela was truly the sunshine of our worlds. With a vibrant, fun-loving spirit and a heart always ready for a good time, she lived life to the fullest. She believed deeply in helping others and cherished every moment spent surrounded by the family and friends she adored. Whether she was near any body of water—her favorite place to find peace and happiness—or laughing with the people she loved; Angela’s presence was a gift.
She found a profound and adventurous love with her husband, Steven Boyd Burdick. Steven and Angela shared a wonderful partnership, and she deeply loved it when he took her on travels. Together, they created a lifetime of memories across their adventures, from heading to Las Vegas—where they were married—to exploring California, Florida, Mexico, and dreaming of the many more journeys yet to come.
Angela is survived by her devoted husband, Steven Boyd Burdick; her beloved son and "ride or die," James Allen Ashe; her mother, Leah Olsovsky; Terry Olsovsky; Austin Olsovsky; her father, Brian L. Worrick; Mitzi Worrick, Daniel Perez and her brothers, Phillip William Mims; Garland Mims; and Joseph James Worrick; Sue Worrick and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life in her honor will be held in the future; the family is currently deciding on the place and time and will share details when available.
Though she was taken from us far too soon, the warmth of her spirit, her generosity, and her adventurous heart will stay with us forever. She will be deeply and endlessly missed, but never forgotten. We hold her in our hearts and pray that she is happy and at peace with God.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."
