Angelyn Lynn Snyder

She was born on March 9, 1956, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Frank Richard Kittle Sr. and Shirley Grace Lindsay Kittle. She was formerly married to George Roy Snyder for 25 years, and together they welcomed two daughters, Jennifer and Heather, who remained the greatest joys of her life.

Angelyn dedicated her life to caring for others—both people and animals. She worked as a veterinary technician for more than 40 years, where her compassion, gentle nature, and love for animals touched the lives of countless families and their beloved pets.

A breast cancer survivor, Angelyn demonstrated unwavering strength and resilience. She faced adversity with courage and optimism, rarely complaining and always finding a reason to smile. Her perseverance inspired everyone who knew and loved her.

Angelyn found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved antiquing, browsing thrift stores and bookstores, taking leisurely trips through Target, watching Hallmark movies, collecting unique rocks, and listening to her treasured record collection. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. Whether gathered around a holiday table, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying one another's company, those moments meant the world to her.

To know Angelyn was to know kindness. She never met a stranger. No trip to the store was complete without making a new friend. She had an extraordinary gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued, and she always found a way to make those around her feel loved.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Kittle Sr., and her sister, Cecelia Kittle Amos Morford.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Jennifer Miranda and her husband, Danny Miranda, and Heather Triplet and her husband, William Triplet Jr.; her grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon and his wife, Makinley, Kayla, and Kane; her partner, Tom Brooks; his daughters, Jessica, Elizabeth, and Shannon; and many bonus grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom she loved as her own. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley Kittle; her sister, Kelly Evans; her brothers, Frank Kittle Jr. and Quintin Kittle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

The world is a little quieter without Angelyn's warm smile, gentle heart, and kind conversations. Though she is no longer by our side, her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will remain forever in our hearts.

In honor of Angelyn's courageous journey as a breast cancer survivor, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602, US, on August 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
