Donna made her home at Silver Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where the staff were more than caregivers—they were her family. She was deeply loved there and returned that love with kindness, joy, and the warmest hugs.
Donna found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved dancing, listening to music, and singing along to her favorite Shania Twain songs. Bingo days brought her excitement, and she especially enjoyed getting her nails done, shopping for new clothes, and picking out colorful headbands that matched her style and spirit.
Donna will be remembered for her bright smile, her affectionate nature, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
A visitation with family and friends to gather and share stories and memories of Donna's life will take place at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home on Thursday January 22, 2026 from 10am-12pm, Following 1:00pm graveside service at Elgin Latin Cemetery in Elgin, Texas.
