Evan Alan Malaer, age 27, of Bastrop, Texas, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 25th, 2026. Born Friday, May 21st, 1999, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. A lover of outdoors, fishing, singing, riding dirt bikes and ATVs. Known for his very strong work ethic, construction knowledge, and mechanical skills and of course, his larger-than-life personality. He worked hard, played hard and lived life at full speed.
He is survived by his father, Brooks Malaer, his mother, Kelsey Pruett, his stepmother, Monica Malaer and his stepfather, Josh Hairell. He is also survived by his brother, Aden Malaer, and his two sisters, Eve Maddox and Addison Hairell and his three children, Avery Malaer, Corbyn Coats, and Karter Malaer.

A Funeral Celebration will take place at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602, US, on November 3, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A private graveside service will be held for family and invited guests.
