It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathon Ellis, a beloved son, brother, family member, and friend whose strength, honesty, and unwavering determination left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Jonathon was the kind of person who never backed down from a challenge. Whether life presented him with obstacles or opportunities, he faced them head-on with courage and confidence. He believed in doing what needed to be done, no matter how difficult, and inspired those around him through his resilience and willingness to step forward when others needed him most. Jonathon faithfully served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force in March of 2013. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and was currently stationed at Creech AFB, Nevada as a MQ-9 Integrated Avionics Craftsman.
Known for his straightforward nature, Jonathon never hesitated to speak his mind. If you asked for his opinion, you received it honestly and without pretense. While his words could be direct, they always came from a place of authenticity. Those who knew him understood that his honesty was one of his greatest strengths, and they could always count on him to be genuine.
Above all, Jonathon was someone you could depend on. Whenever family, friends, or loved ones needed help, he was there. He stepped up without hesitation, offering his time, his effort, and his support. His loyalty and sense of responsibility defined the way he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
Though Jonathon’s time with us was far too short, the memories he created, the challenges he overcame, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten. His strength, honesty, and willingness to stand beside those he loved will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jonathon will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
