Throughout his lifetime, Joe dedicated himself to a career in the oil field, where he worked until his 80s. He was a devout Catholic.
Joe found joy in the simple things. He cared for his mother until her passing. He had an affection for animals, treating them with a level of care and respect that often surpassed how he treated himself. This bond with animals was a testament to his spirit and his compassionate heart.
On any given day you could find him at a convenient store playing the lotto and scratching lottery tickets. He also enjoyed going to the horse races and watching football.
Joe is survived by his niece, Jane Wright; great nephews, Jordan Wright, Jacob Wright(Karla) and Jodie Wright; sister-in-law, Shirley Wright; and a dear friend, Diego Lopez. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lehman; his brother, Charles Wright; and his beloved nephew, Corey Wright.
In the last year Joe struggled with getting around and needing more help than usual. He reached out to people he called his friends and many of them helped him. We would like to thank them and may God Bless them.
