Martin Gomez, age 75, of Del Valle, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2026 surrounded by family. Martin was born in Mexico on January 2, 1951. Martin Gomez was a man of Faith, with Strong Catholic Beliefs.
Martin enjoyed having company over, cooking and music. He loved animals and had much patience for them.
Martin had a passion for Hard Honest Work. That Spirit Described his Life! He was a man of his word; very loyal and full of knowledge, skills and talent. All of which he turned into lessons which he seriously instilled onto those around him.
A Memorial Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 9:30am-10:30am at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. A 12pm graveside service will be held at Assumption Cemetery to lay Martin to rest.
He will be Greatly Missed and Forever Remembered.
