Pauline Faye Bates, age 90, of Smithville, TX passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, due to complications of a stroke.
She was born in Stillwell, OK on February 5, 1934, and was married to Johnny Bates on January 17, 1951.
She is survived by son, John D. Bates of Abilene; daughter, M. Jan Bates of Smithville; grandson, Jesse N. Bates and wife Alison of Wimberley; and great grandchildren, Ann, John, Leo, Mary and baby Grace Pauline, who is in heaven. There are no surviving siblings.
The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Renita Knight under the services of Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602.
Viewing on Wednesday, December 18 from noon to 2 pm. Funeral service at 2 pm Wednesday, December 18.
Burial will be Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth.
