

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving parents; her siblings, Debbie Johnson and Donald Cowan; and her sister-in-law, Natalie Sand-Cowan.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters, Donna Thompson (Jason), Kelly Andrews (Wayne), and her precious baby, Lilly. She is also survived by her siblings, Carroll Cowan (Sandra), James Cowan, and her sisters-in-love, Sherry Parrish and Patti Harbers (Dwain).
Sharon’s greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren: Tyler Thompson (Lillie), Clayton Andrews, Katelyn Thompson, and Avery Andrews, as well as her great-grandson, Cainen McDowell-Duffie.
She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, clients, and dear friends whose lives she touched.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at South Austin Hospital, especially the 6th floor care team, ICU nurses, and a very special thank you to Dr. Wright and her colleagues at Texas Oncology. Their compassionate and expert care brought comfort during Sharon’s final days.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., also at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Preece Cemetery in Austin.
Sharon will be remembered for her love, strength, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
