

Adrian Uribe, Jr.
Adrian Uribe, Jr. passed away on Oct. 3, 2016 at the age of 93.
He was born on March 25, 1923 in Oceanside Calif., and was a resident of Cherry Valley since 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nohora Uribe; son, George; daughters, Verónica, in England, and Nora, in Moreno Valley; three sisters; one brother; and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, four sisters and one brother.
He died, peacefully at home, as the result of a stroke.
He worked for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Corporation as an aircraft mechanic for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry and going to the Fantasy Springs Casino.
Adrian was a parishioner of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church where he had served as an usher in previous years.
He served in the Army Air Corps from April 16, 1941 to June 26, 1948.
During WWII as a B-24 tail gunner he was wounded while flying over Germany on one of his 13 missions.
A private burial will be attended by his family and close friends at the Riverside National Cemetery.
