Hondo is survived by his wife Rachel; children Steven, Sato, Miyaxwen, and Hondo; his parents Berto and Josie Flores; sisters Marlena (Steve); Brenda; Cindy (Ian), Lin; brother John Anthony (Jolene); in-laws Raymond and Brenda Torres and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Hondo was trained by his father John as a Lather in the construction business and they worked together for many years. He also worked at Morongo Gold Club. He attended Banning schools and completed 2 years Charis Bible College at Faith Builders Family Church in Banning. Hondo was a member of the Morongo Riders Car Club and was an avid Raiders fan. He was a certified personal trainer and a member of Church 212 in Indio. Hondo was a loving and caring man, who loved his family and adored his children. He is deeply loved and missed.

Viewing/visitation: Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont. Service: Friday, February 12, 2016, 10 am at Morongo Community Center. Burial and lunch to follow service. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA. 951-845-1141
