

Ms. Anna May Hinget-Tuffnell, 83, of Banning, California, died peacefully on August 7, 2012. She was born May 19, 1929, in Ontario, Canada, to the late parents Nelson and Edna McDonald of Scotish and Irish decent. At age 16, Anna met John Hingey, who had just returned from the war, at the ice skating rink. They married in 1947 and moved from Canada to California in 1963. Anna worked at Delta Airlines as a Reservations Manager for 28 years before retiring in 1993. Her three greatest passions were her family, gardening and travel.
Anna was preceded in death by her first husband, John Hingey, her second husband Ronald Tuffnell, her son, Michael Hingey and siblings, Irene Taure and Wibb McDonald.
Anna is survived by her sisters, Shirley Dewey and Faye Andrus; son, John Hingey; daughters, Catherine Hill, Janice Blazek and Susan Costello; grandchildren, Andrea Scott, Heidi Fimbres, Brian Blazek, Jonathan Blazek, Dylan Hingey and Jason Hingey and great grandchildren, Britany Scott, Kristen Scott, Liberty Scott, Jasmin Fimbres, Steven Fimbres and Victoria Fimbres.
Visitation and Funeral service Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Life Point Church, 565 N. San Gorgonio Avenue, Banning, California. Interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
