August (Bud) Matthias Kasper, M.D. passed away June 20, 2012 at his home in Banning, California, at the age of 87 years. He was born August 5, 1924, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Bud had lived in California since 1953, spending 25 years in Pacific Palisades and the last 35 years in the San Bernardino area. He loved camping, hiking, reading, traveling, cooking and eating all foods. Bud had a private practice in the Los Angeles area and was on staff at Patton State Hospital for 20 years.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Custer Kasper; four children Robert (Bob) Kasper, Kathryn (Kathy) Kasper, Patricia (Patty) Jones and Anthony (Tony) Kasper; brother, Robert Kasper of Florida; one step daughter, Pamela (Pam) Farris; 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial service Friday, June 29, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California.
