Benjamin Sawyer III was born in Seattle, Washington on November 10, 1931. He moved to Portland, Oregon in his younger years where he graduated in 1949 from Grant High School. Ben owned and operated Sawyer Communications in Portland and later in Walnut Creek/Martinez, California. Accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, Ben is now with his Heavenly Father. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn, of Banning, CA; children, Brent of Gilbert, AZ; daughter, Lyn (Scott) of Ferndale, WA; son, Benjamin of Seattle, WA and fifteen grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2:00pm in Beaumont, CA.
