Bonnie Hatch Hier

1932 ~ 2014

Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Bonnie Hier, 82, passed away October 9, 2014, in Banning, California with her family by her side.

She was born June 18, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ivan Vance and Dora Isabelle Jones Hatch. She graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. Bonnie married her childhood sweetheart, William (Bill) Kenneth Hier in Bountiful, Utah on May 4, 1950. Bonnie loved her family and friends, playing cards, golfing and bowling.

She is survived by her children, Shellie Hier, Kenny Hier and Becky (Jeff) Davis; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister Louise Atkinson, West Jordan, UT; brother Dan Hatch, Hurricane, UT; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill of 64 years, daughter Bonnie, son Chuck, her parents, sister Georgia, and brother Steven.

Bonnie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California in a private ceremony at a later date.
