Brian William Glassco passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 11, 2014. He was 34. Brian was born November 7, 1980 in Riverside, California, the first child of his parents, Brad and Ann (Russ) Glassco. He was a loyal, loving son and family member. As a child, he enjoyed camping and Boy Scouts and he excelled in youth sports, including baseball and basketball.
Brian excelled academically, was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed learning about history and political studies. He formed a close group of friends at Redlands High School, many of whom he remained very close with after graduation in 1999. Brian participated in the Associated Student Body, the newspaper, started a political activism club at RHS, and was a Teacher's Assistant for the Special Education Class. He was captain of the varsity RHS basketball team.
Brian received a Regent's Scholarship to University of California, Santa Barbara and completed his B.A. in History in three years. He traveled abroad to Galway, Ireland. Brian then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego in 2007. He was an active member of the Wild Game Feed, which raises funds to help Orange County youth experience outdoor activities. Brian was pursuing a career in teaching at the time of his death.
Brian adored his family. He is survived by the love of his life Christina Sayler Glassco; daughter Cora (age 3) and son William (age 2); parents Brad and Ann Glassco; sisters Elizabeth Glassco and Alicia Appel and her husband Carlos; grandparents Gloria Glassco and Jerald and Margaret Russ. Brian is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 4:30pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 115 W. Olive Avenue, Redlands, California on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:00am.
A reception will follow the Mass at the Redlands Elks Club, 663 New York Street, Redlands, California, followed by the burial at Mt. View Cemetery, 1315 Edgar Avenue, Beaumont, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
