I just need to share a quick story with you about Carla. just so you know, she's a hero in my book. I will never forget how at your last party my family attended, I saw a giant tarantula on the steps and me being completely aggravated with spiders (because I refuse to say that I'm scared of them) I asked Carla if it was a tarantula because it partially looked like a shadow, but no it WAS a tarantula! I pointed to it, she looked and not even a second later with her paper thin sandals on she walked over to it and without a second thought, she stepped on it like it was some kind of little bug completely destroying what I saw as a monster in one step! and she had a look on her face, like it was nothing and now it won't bother anyone because at that moment it was almost as if that spider was disrupting her party and she was having none of that. I remember i halfway thew up, gagged and was amazed all at the same time. To me this was symbolic of the strength she had. She was a fighter. I will never forget her. She IS an amazing woman and I'm so sorry for your loss. 
She is my Hero

I want to be just like Carla. On several occasions throughout my life she has done countless selfless things for me and for others. She fed me, clothed me, tried to give me a home, and gave me hope I didn’t know I needed. I will forever be grateful for everything Carla did to be an example to me and everyone around her.

Carla from the moment I met her, I knew her and I would get along. From her infectious smile and laugh, to the truth she spoke from her heart. I will never forget her energy, and the memories we shared together. I feel blessed to have known her, and how she was one of my mother figures in my life. I know she is watching over all of us ❤️ I love you Carla, always.

Trabajando para usted y jamás le mire una mal cara siempre sonriendo y siempre preocupada por las necesidades de de los demas con una humildad que era lo que la hacía brillar gracias!   yo le agradezco de todo corazón todo lo que hizo por nosotras fue un honor y un privilegio trabajar con usted  Quisiera que fuera una pesadilla  gracias infinitas 🙏 de verdad la extrañáremos ❤️❤️

Ever since I met Carla in high school, she approached life with a boldness, zeal, and intrepidness unlike any other. I always admired her remarkable work ethic, optimism, intelligence, beauty, poise, and endless warmth.  

As Carla watches over us, I know she would not want us to be devastated by her untimely loss, as devastating as it may be. She would want to see us joyously celebrate her life, to smile as big as she smiled when we think of her, and to cherish the precious time we spent with her as we live our lives to the fullest just as she did.  Although Carla will always be with me in my heart and mind, I will miss her dearly. 

My deepest condolences go out to Carla’s family, especially Keith and her children who must now endure an immeasurable loss I cannot fathom.  

Chel, gracias porque se te prendio el foco ese año de el 2003, y haberle dicho a Carla que tenias a una amiga que encajaria bien en el trabajo donde trabajaban juntas. Gracias a diosito te conoci Carlita y de ahi en adelante, it was history. You were the best boss ever! Siempre smiling, caring, attentive etc. No sabes lo agradecida que estoy con diosito por haberme dado la oportunidad de conocer a una persona tan hermosa por dentro y por fuera (Tu mi chula). La mujer mas humilde y down to earth I've ever known. I love you so much, no matter how long we would go without communication por una razon o otra, we always picked up where we left off at. Esos 16 años que me distes de amistad, son los mas hermosos y los que siempre llevare conmigo. Hasta que diosito nos de la dicha de reunirnos de nuevo, siempre te llevare en mi corazon. Te Amo Chula Hermosa, no es un adios, si no un hasta luego. 

I was one of Carla‘s nurses and she was my favorite patient. She was full of life and was so kind. She always talked about her kids and how proud she was to be their mother. She was so positive even in her darkest moments. Her favorite phrase was “I’m fine” because she didn’t want to worry anyone. She was so beautiful even when she lost her hair and eyebrows. In her last weeks, she told me that she was at peace with dying and knew that she was getting close. She said that she knew Keith was going to do a great job raising the kids. She was weak and tired and was ready to go home. I told her that I would come visit her in heaven at her mansion someday. We gave each other a long hug with tears. I will miss her. I had the privilege of meeting Zack and Kayleen and they are gorgeous just like Carla. Until we meet again my friend. Love you.

All memories with you are good ones, you where like my big sis, the one you admire and you want to be like... I have a lot of great memories with you! All the nights we use to spend listening music with mama Gloria as if she was a teenager like us... the way you where... I love Uand will miss you so much... I’m sad that we won’t be alble to create new memories together, but I’m sure that one day we will Be together again to have fun prima! Thank you for everything! I love you ♥️

I will never forget the day last Sept 2019 my husband and I spent with Carla, Keith, Jacklin & Robert in Hawaii. It was a very wonderful day.  I got to know Carla that day on a more personal level, I found her from the first time we met very approachable with a sweet smile and personality. Ayyyyy Amiguis te nos fuiste muy rapido. Pero me dejaste muchisimos recuerdos. Los tiempos en Fontana Family Medical Group fueron muy divertidos. Nos la pasamos siempre jugando y riendonos de nuestras locuras. Mi corazon esta triste pero se que estas en un lugar hermoso. I love you Amiguis siempre. 

Carlita for sure you left us too soon,but I know now that you’re taking care of all of us from up there next to all our loved ones that have left us too .
Words can’t describe the emptiness we’re all feeling because of your departure, I’ll always remember your beautiful personality and the way you always called me TÍO GALO.

My beloved prima, I miss you so much. I wish we could've had more time together. You are now an angel watching over our family. You were an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. It is a huge loss for us, but a a big gain for heaven. God's plan is bigger than us, he knows why he wants you sitting next to him. You're a warrior Queen!!! I will and have always carried you in my heart cuz. I told your brother that you got the ViP treatment and was sent to the front of the line at the gates of Heaven. Beautiful brown latina, you left your beautiful legacy here and now you're in heaven creating even a bigger legacy with our almighty Father. 

I am so great full for the love and compassion that  Carla  gave to my boys as their second mom. Chase and Devin love her so much . We are all so fortunate that we were able to know her. She will really be missed.      Suzy Orton
