It's been over a year since you were taken away from me and I still can not get used to not having you with me.  Some say time heals all wounds.  But anyone knowing first hand, understands this is not really true.  Some say it's God's will.  I say that is a cop-out.  I understand that bad things happen to good people.  But what you had to go through, to me is unjust.  You, the most holy and good person I have ever known.  Now I am left with only all the beautiful memories we had together, for which I am very much grateful.  After all the trials that you had to endure, at least now your new life has begun.  Were there is not more death or mourning or crying or pain.  I love you and it is my hope to see you again when it is my time to leave this world.  Pray for me and our sons.  Rest In Peace. My dear friend and sister in Christ Carmencita, You were the best adviser and councilor I will ever have, we could spend hours on the phone, I will miss that.  But I know your resting now, free from all pain, and in Our Fathers arms.  Until we meet again, you will always hold a very special place in my heart because I Love You.

I only met you once and I remember your smile and I knew you were a wonderful human being.  I know your in heaven now and that you finally have peace from so much pain and suffering that you endured during your illness. Dear Tia Carmen,
I am writing this on behalf of my self and my kids. I know we only got to know you for a few years, but it was enough to time to get attached to you and love you. We were lucky enough to go visit you and have some talks and listen to your wonderful stories. Raven remembers that beautiful doll you have in your living room and always said how much she wants a doll like yours. Julian I know was a little baby when he last saw you, but we will always remind him who you were and how special you were to all of us. As for me I just want to thank you so much for being so sweet and nice to me. Thank you for being a wonderful Aunt to my husband Alex and being like a second mother to him. My dearest sister, where can I start?  all I can say is that because of you, I leaned so many wonderful things, and I know that your goal for all of us is to be together at our Fathers House.  I will try my best to follow His path, and to do some of the things you taught me to do.  To love others, to serve God and others, to be strong and courageous, compassionate.            I really can't seem to find the right words to express exactly what I feel inside, but I do know this. I will always treasure all the days I had you as an aunt, and can't wait to hug you and hear your wonderful voice again. Sitting me down on the bed with a jewelry box to entertain me while you'd brush my hair at the age of 2 1/2 yrs is the earliest memory I have of you. The day of your wedding is my best memory of you though cause you looked very beautiful and extremely happy. But the one I cherish most in my heart is the look I saw on your face on some picture that my Tio Richard took of you holding Mario as a baby, it was priceless. Also the cute little sound affects that you and Mick would say back and forth to one another when he was a baby was precious. I have always kept you in my prayers, I still do. But now I say an extra prayer at night for my uncle and cousins.I love you and will miss you dearly, we all will.

Dear Tia Carmen, I love and miss you lots. I know I will see you again someday but until then all I have is memories of you telling me stories as a kid and making dolls out of your stockings when I would visit. Our sincere condolences for Sanchez & Alvarado Family. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you.  I went to CVHS with Carmen and Marina, we kept in touch. Carmen is a wonderful woman with a sincere heart and loved her family very much. I know she's an Angel in heaven. Theres no doubt about that and will be watching over Richard and her children as well as her family (Alvarado) and Sanchez Family. Carmen is missed by soo many of us.

Dear Carmen my Love. I want to let the world know what a wonderful woman you are. I will miss you so much, that it will take a long time to heal the wound I now have in my soul.
