Christian Charles Burkholder

Christian Charles Burkholder, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Yucaipa, California. He was born February 28, 1948 in San Diego, California to Paul & Charliene Burkholder. Chris graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino in 1966. Throughout his life, he resided in Muscoy, San Bernardino, Yucaipa, Calimesa, Cherry Valley, Beaumont, Cabazon and most recently for the past 10 years in Talkeetna, Alaska. He was a man of all trades and he worked as a Rancher, Horseshoer, Candy Maker and Baseball Coach.

Chris is survived by his daughters Camie & husband Rick Pretzinger of Lake Arrowhead, CA, Kim & husband Dean Rollins of Sweetwater, TN, Charlene & husband Efrain Ovando of Cherry Valley; mother Charliene Burkholder of La Mirada, CA; sister, Sandi &husband Bill Schmits of La Mirada, CA; 10 grandchildren, Ricky, David & Dillon Pretzinger of Lake Arrowhead, CA, Chris, Daniell Rollins, Brittanie Rollins and Tiffany Woody of Sweetwater, TN, Kathleen, Vanessa & Kevin Ovando of Cherry Valley, CA. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Paul Burkholder and sister, Paula Wiley.

A Celebration of Chris Burkholder’s Life will take place on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Grange, 10478 Beaumont Avenue, Cherry Valley, CA 92223.
