Uncle Don,
I will never forget the camping trip we took with you to Pismo Beach.  I got to experience the outdoors at its finest and to this day, I always think about that trip when I am camping.  Riding the dune buggy and going over those steep sand dunes was incredible.  Now, on my camping trips, I am always looking for that signature moment or experience to remember every trip.  I hope you have one of those vintage "canned ham" travel trailers in heaven and are traveling around to new experiences.

I have very fond memories of Don and the trip back to California.  The patience he had with four teenagers in the motor home. Always so positive and cheerful. Jeff,Janice John and Jerry our hearts are with you. Please know that we are thinking of you.

Don, you were my oldest and a very loving brother.  I have some great memories of times together, when I was younger,  and in the last several years.  I enjoyed talking to you often and miss and love you very much.

Don, you were my idol, being 4 years older than me I wanted to be like you. You didn't smoke or drink so I didn't either. Now you've gone to a better place and are with: Mom, Dad, Mary Lou, James Ronald, Jonathan, My daughter Terri, our grand parents and many more of our ancestors. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with you while we were on earth, but will in the next chapter of our lives, forever we will be together. I'll see you soon.

Uncle Don was always very special to me . I remember when I was a little girl I would always write letters to him and he would always write me back. So kind and caring to me. I love you Uncle Don. You will be greatly missed. Until we meet again...

I will miss you. You will never be forgotten. You had a special place in my heart. My memories of my childhood spending with my cousins and uncles with motorcycles and camping. I love you uncle Don .You will be dearly missed.

Uncle Don will be truly missed. I treasure every minute we spent together. I used to tell him he reminded me of Burt Reynolds (when I was younger) and we would laugh. I loved seeing life through his eyes. He had so many fun stories and I would love to enjoy life the way he did. We will miss you Uncle Don! Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in this difficult time.

I will miss you so much Uncle Don. You were a huge part of my childhood growing up and I always looked up to you. I will always remember the crazy dune buggy rides and being delightfully scared. I take comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering. Enjoy yourself up in heaven and rest in peace.  I love you always.  Your niece. <3

Sad news for those of us who knew Don as a young man.  He was the best man at our wedding and we have fond memories of fun times together.  May he rest in peace and we send our sympathy to Janice, Jeff and Jon.
