

She grew up on the family farm. After graduating high school in 1946, she then attended college and received a bachelor’s degree in teaching. She married after college and moved to Southern California – Torrance is where she settled and made her life. This is where all her children were born. They resided in Torrance until 1977 when her father came to live with her.
Seeking a more quiet way to life for her father and family is how she came to Banning/Beaumont area. She liked the small town life, it reminded her of Lowder.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Sullivan, of Banning, Tami Black, of Beaumont, and Scott Black, of Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Heather Sullivan White, Haley Sullivan, Gabrielle Black Montgomery, Abigail Black, Madeline Black and Gunner Christoffersen; and two great-grandchildren: Thomas White and Ely White.
She will be in our hearts forever.
