

Donnie C. Beaver, 80, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 in Banning, California. He was born February 12, 1935 in Seligman, Missouri to Charles & Jessie Beaver. Donnie would retire from the United States Navy as a Boatswain’s Mate First Class after 21 years of service in 1977. He had received multiple awards for his service to country and community. Donnie would go on to work as an Arco mechanic for 20 years in San Diego and later retire to Banning, California where he had resided for the past 12 years. He was an active member of the Banning VFW Post 233 and would be called upon to help perform military honors for local veterans that had passed away.
Donnie is survived by his daughters, Dana (Mike) Hernandez of Salinas, CA and Becky Peterson of Oregon; step son, Ricky Crenshaw of Banning; while married to Dana’s mother, step-children include, Sue Ringler of Carmel, CA; Kenny Wollenschlaeger of Oregon, Danny Wollenschlaeger of Idaho and Larry Wollenschlaeger of Oregon. He has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who all loved and admired him, he was loved and will be missed by all.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9 am – 10 am with a funeral service at 10am both at the First Assembly of God Church, 1166 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, CA. A private interment will follow at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside.
