Edward F. McLaughlin, 76, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011. Edward was born September 23, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 – 1954. He retired from the San Bernardino County, Building & Safety Department in 2002 after 20 years of service. Edward has been an active member of the Catholic Church and the Serrano Del Vista community in Banning.
Mr. McLaughlin is survived by his loving wife Carol of 58 year; Sons, Brian & Fiancée Desiree, Ed & wife Stephanie, and Glen; Daughters, Debra Harker, Sandra Carnes & Husband Mike; Brothers, Tom & wife Barbara of Arkansas, Ken & wife Julie of Massachusetts; 8 Grandsons; 3 Granddaughters and 6 Great-grandchildren.
A vigil service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Weaver Memorial Chapel in Beaumont. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont. Interment will follow at the Riverside National Cemetery at 12:15 pm, Staging Area #2.
