George Albert Nicholass

George Nicholass, 86, of Rialto and Yucaipa, CA. passed away at home of cancer, February 21, 2023, surrounded by family. George was born in England on March 27, 1936, to Mabel and Alfred Nicholass. In 1953 George immigrated to the United States, and in 1955, he joined the U.S. Army. He served for 20 years, serving twice in Korea, twice in Germany, once in England and Wales, and Vietnam. George served in the 82nd Airborne Division and several military police companies. He worked nine years as a Chaplains Administrator and the last five years prior to retirement as a station commander of the United States recruiting station. He later owned a successful residential painting company until his retirement in 1995.

Preceded in death by his wife Stella. They are survived by their 7 children: Annette, Chendia, Matthew, Susanna, Elizabeth, Elaine, Angela, along with 23 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, with another due in July.

Immediately following, a Celebration of Life reception will be held at the Forero Home.
