Gerry Van Wormer, age 93, passed away July 8th, 2018 at Redlands Community Hospital from cancer. She was born in St. Clair, Michigan on December 12, 1924 to Mai and Edward Dumas. Gerry met and married the love of her life, Vince Van Wormer in 1948. They just recently celebrated their 70th Anniversary in March. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, entertaining and shopping. She loved singing and music and sang in the Sun Lakes Corral for 20 years.
Gerry is survived by her loving husband Vince; 4 daughters: Carol (Robby), Linda (Bill), Debbie (David) and Cindy (Dale); 5 grandsons; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and her sister Mary Lou Clemens. She was preceded in death by her daughter Diane Lynn, her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Private services for Gerry were held on Monday, July 16th 2018 at Weaver Mortuary.
