Gordon Young met Wanda, the love of his life at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Washington D.C. Married in October of 1956, they were soon on their way to attend Valley Forge Christian College in Pennsylvania. His life mission was to help others and that he did beginning with his first pastorate in 1960. He served as a pastor for over forty years and many lives were impacted through his life and ministry. Gordon leaves behind a tremendous legacy, not only in ministry, but through his family with three children and five grandchildren in full-time ministry.
Surviving to cherish his memories are his wife, Wanda, children, Joyce, Janice, Alan and Nathan, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Three of his children and five grandchildren are in full-time ministry and all of his family are serving God.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held Saturday, June 15 at 4:00 pm at
9580 Calimesa Blvd., Calimesa, CA 92320 (meeting in Montessori school).
