Suco Aguirre was born on July 30, 1969, to Hilario B. Aguirre and Rebecca Reyes. He was a strong and loving husband to Gina S. Aguirre, to whom he spent the last 31 years building a life with. Suco was the proud father to his 4 children, Zachary J. Forman, Monica N. Aguirre, Joseph S. Aguirre, and Marissa N. Aguirre. He was an amazing Papa to his only grandson, Everette P. Gonzalez, who he adored and had been the light of his life for the past 4 years.
Suco was the youngest of 8 siblings and is preceded in death and now reunited with his father Hilario B. Aguirre, his brothers Leonel “Buck” Aguirre, Don “Togo” Aguirre, Juan H. Aguirre, and his sister Maria “Muisa” Aguirre.
Suco as a young boy would tear apart his dad’s lawn mowers and anything he could find. He would enjoy figuring out how it worked and the challenge of putting it back together. This led to Suco’s 41-year career as an amazing automotive mechanic, specializing in transmissions. Being a diehard Chevy guy, he knew all aspects of mechanics and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix! We are all going to miss his amazing automotive talents and skills.
Suco loved everything involving dirt and off-road. He would tell stories of how he loved being a part of an offroad truck race team with his friends back in the day. His favorite past time starting when he was young was riding his dirtbike, which he passed on to not only his sons, but also his daughters and now his grandson is joining in as well. He spent many years enjoying family vacations in Glamis and the river with his family and friends.
Suco was known by everyone. He had such a strong presence not only in his family, but by everyone who knew him. The loss we all feel is going to be hard to overcome. The important thing to remember is Suco was a pilar of strength and knowledge and he would definitely want to be remembered as such. He never backed down to any challenge presented to him and now he won’t want us to back down to the challenge of honoring him and keeping his memory alive with happiness and love.
