I remember Jean when she attended our VNA grief support group.  She was an encouragement to all.  And I remember her when she was on our hospice as she faced death with grace and dignity.  I am the better for knowing her.  I pray you will find comfort in your many happy memories.

I remember Jean as the mother of Tom and Janine, and the dearest friend of my own mother's.  I remember family get-togethers, playing ball and having barbeques or spaghetti dinners.  Tom and I were practically cousins and sometimes I would spend a few days in Canoga Park.  Every morning Jean would do her exercises with Jack LaLane on the t.v.  She didn't care what we thought. It was one of her favorite moments of the day and it always seemed to make her happy.  Then, of course, Tom and I would go out and see what adventures we could have.

"A butterfly lights beside me like a sunbeam and for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to my world...But then it flies on again and though I wish it could have stayed, I feel so lucky to  have seen it.  That's the way I feel about meeting and knowing Jean for a short while.  I feel so fortunate to have known this lovely lady and have had her in my life.
