I will always remember you....

I remember Mike Jeff & Fritz from The Bantams. My heart goes out to the family. My favorite memory is of them playing in front of 408 N.Venice Blvd.

From one Culver City brother to another, Jeff we will see you soon, remember to keep a space open on the dance floor, we will all be dancing again.

So very sad that another beloved Rocker from Culver City has left us far before his time. All the great times, and all those smiles you had for everyone is how you will be remembered by me. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your Family, and Loved ones Jeffrey. I can only imagine who you are jamming with in Heaven right now! I know this much though, you are rockin' that Drum set,keepin' the beat solid...

Where does one start when writing a message like this? I'm sorry is all I can think of but it won't change what has happened or heal our broken hearts. Jeff had a kind soul and enjoyed giving to and helping others. My favorite memory is of the tool belt he and his wife gifted me for Christmas! He was so happy to let me know he recognized my attempts at trying to be a 'do-it-your-selfer". Or his favorite trick of flicking that cigarette into his mouth,which we all tried to imitate. You touched so many lives with your music,your kindness, and your smile, Jeff, and we'll always keep you with us in our thoughts and prayers.

Paca I love you so much you were so thoughtful, I will never forget you picking me up from school every day and calling the radio station to try and win concert tickets.. And we finally won. You are so loved and I hope you realize how much we all love you. I already miss everything about you, even you banging on the steering wheel pretending it was a drum set. I love you Paca, One day I will be with you again in heaven to make you laugh.

Jeff, I remember all the times you showed me different things on the drums and how you always played so solid. All the times we sat in for each other wow those were the days. You will be really missed by so many people that you touched over the years with your music and your sense of humor. Rip my friend with love to you and your family from Tammi and I.

Jeff had a kind soul. He made everyone feel special. I know he is keeping that huge groove and pocket of his going. Heads are bobbing and feet are tapping wherever he is.

Jeff, we can be so grateful that God put you in our lives. We were given the ability to hear your artistic musical talents, have unforgettable memories of many, many laughing moments, and witnessed the heartfelt kindness you shared with us all. You will be sorely missed, but our fond memories of you will continue to live on forever....and for that, we can be truly thankful.  R.I.P

Jeff we go back a long time I remember sitting in class biology with Mr Astorian you were my lab partner I remember seeing you play all the time I remember shooting you when I when I was the local photographer I remember shooting you at the world famous Starwood I see some of those photos still to this day from the early 70's may you rest in peace my almighty lab partner

I'll meet you in Rock 'n' Roll heaven.. if they let me in.

Dear Jeff, I remember hearing you and the band (bantams) for the first time at CC Jr high lunch area.  I have always admired your incredibly solid playing.  You have always been kind whenever we have spoken. You will be missed Jeff.
