With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life and memory of Jimmy Wayne Sheets, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.
Jimmy was born in Virginia in 1946, where he grew up and attended school. He later answered the call to serve his country in the United States military. His service included time during the Vietnam War and in Germany, experiences that remained an important part of his life.
Jimmy was a kind, caring, and loving man who valued family above all else. He had a generous heart and a way of making those around him feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. To those who knew him, Jimmy was more than a husband, father, brother, grandfather, or friend, he was a steady and comforting presence whose love left a lasting impression.
After a long and difficult battle with his health, Jimmy passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026. Though his journey has come to an end, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on through all who knew and loved him.
Jimmy leaves behind his beloved wife, Naomi Sheets; his children, Marcus, Danielle, Davis, Carol, Julie, Andrea, and Betty; his brothers, John, Gary, and Reney; his grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
His family will carry his memory forward in the stories they tell, the moments they shared, and the love that will always remain.
Jimmy may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts.
Rest peacefully, Jimmy. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, and you will be deeply loved and missed forever.
