You were taken from us 2 years ago, today. There isn't one day that goes by that I'm not thinking of you, and some of the good times we had. Even though it is hard for us who are left behind, we must go forward. Rest in peace and no longer in pain.
Love Always, Jude

Dear Mike,

I still think of the fun we had working at the same building to the tax appointments with you guys. You both will always be in my heart.

Annie
Today makes two years since you were taken from us and even though the great and sometimes crazy memories are still with us, it still hurts not having you around. Every morning when I come out to the kitchen, I still expect to see your smiling face and words of wisdom to get me through another day. I miss you dearly and love you forever.
Mike

Joanie, I have been putting this note off. Because I still can't control my crying since you left us a year ago. Life will never be the same without you here. But I know that we must go on which isn't easy. I miss our closeness, and conversation's on solving problems. I wish you could come back for even a short time so I could hear your voice giving me your wise knowledge. There is a big hole left in our Hearts, and until we can be together again, rest in peace pain free.
Love Your Little Sister Judy, Ester and Buddy !!

Annie
I can’t believe that you left us a year ago. Never in my wildest dreams that would have imagined that you would be the first one to go to the Lord. This past year has been the most difficult time of my life. I will never forget the wonderful life that we had together for almost 60 years. No one could ever replace you and what we had together.
I know that I need to quit feeling sorry for myself
and try to move on. I believe that it is going to be very difficult for me, but with the continued love and support from our friends and family, I will succeed.
Until we are reunited, I love and miss you so much.
Mup

Our brother Mike is visiting us in Hawaii on this one year anniversary of Jo’s passing. It is so wonderful to have Mike here with us but also bittersweet that Jo is not here with us. Just know that you are still in our thoughts and hearts. Love you Joann. 💕

Mike the day you drove up the street and pulled alongside me in the street I started to joke with you because you were driving instead of walking and I hardly ever saw you driving except for you and Joann were going somewhere. Well when you told me that your beloved wife had passed my joking manner suddenly turned somber. I remember when you were getting close to moving into the neighborhood you and JoAnn stopped at our house and since we had already lived here for six or so months and had already put in our landscaping Etc, and I supplied her with phone numbers and she was always so nice. I’m so sorry for your loss Mike may God give you comfort in these times ! Chris and Judi Ritchie

Mike, John & I send our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear wife. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Always, Ana Garrett & John Ramey

Mike, you know how sorry I was to learn that Joann was not doing well and I was devastated when I heard a few days later that you had lost her. Troy and I have always enjoyed our friendship with you guys. I was sooo glad for your friendship when I lost him. I am sorry for your loss. Please let me know if I can do anything for you - at any time in the future. I consider you my friend. I love you. Dee Perkins

Mike and family, Joyce and I are so sorry JoAnn has passed. She was a wonderful person, full of love, fun and a bit of mischief. We will be thinking of you as you go through this.

Jack and I are so sorry to hear of JoAnn's passing. May you rest peacefully JoAnn and may the memories you shared together Mike, warm and comfort you at this difficult time.

Mike, we are so sorry for the loss of your beloved JoAnn. Her smile and wave whenever we saw her brought us joy. And we always appreciated her sweet and funny spirit when we spoke. May God comfort you during this very difficult time.
Sincerely, Darrell & Maureen

Michael, Colin and Kathy Taylor send their heart felt condolences.
56 years is a long time to be together making it all the more difficult of a loss.
We look forward to seeing you out walking again before too long.
Love from Colin and Kathy.

Jo Ann had a good sense of humor and a great laugh. She was always generous with her love especially for her pets. Mike and her were always meant to be together and was an inspiration to Mary and me. She will be missed.
Aloha Nui Loa, Steve and Mary

JoAnn this is such a difficult time, but with a heavy heart I would like to say I am grateful to have you as my Sister, Mentor, Confidant and at times a Mom. We were so much alike and often thought and said the same things at the same time. Our brother Dave even called me JoAnn Jr. because of it. I will miss your knowledge and jovial disposition, and the way you looked out for my welfare for 73 years. I will always remember two of your favorite sayings, "Knowledge is Power" and "Roger That"! I know how much you cherished your marriage of 56 years to Mike. You can rest assured that Ester (Our Exceptional Friend) and I (your Maid of Honor) will be watching out for Mikie. As well as your many Friends you have made and valued through the years. Now that our Lord has called you home. Rest peacefully and pain free for Eternity, with Mom and Dad, and our brothers Dave and Alfred Jr. Love you bunches always, Judy, Ester and Doggie Buddy

Mike. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely John & Pat Keith

My husband Toby and I met JoAnn when we moved to Beaumont. She and Mike were our nextdoor neighbors.
She is so smart and funny. We loved her giggle.
We just can’t believe she is gone. She will be missed. Rest well JoAnn until we meet again.
We love you.

To my loving wife Annie:
Hard to believe that it’s been 60 years since we first met in high school in 1963. I somehow knew at the time that you were the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Through all of the ups and downs of 56 years of marriage, you were always the strong one and my rock to lean on. You were always there to support me and pick me up when I was feeling down. You never complained that I was always working and never home, missing birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that you would be first to go to the Lord. I know that you are no longer suffering and that you are in a much better place. Please don’t worry about me, I not only have Judy, Ester, Steve and Mary, but a very large circle of friends that have been, and will be in the future, giving me the support that I need. I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend and soulmate, there isn’t anyone who could have taken your place. I’m already missing your sense of humor and your down to earth ways of taking care of business. I miss you dearly but with all the support I have received so far, I will go on, but will always be thinking of you and have you in my heart. At some point in time, we will be together again but until then and with all my love, your loving husband, Mup.

Our sincere condolences to Mike for the loss of his wife.
The day we moved into Four Seasons,
Mike and JoAnn were the first ones to meet and greet us into the community. With their smiles, friendliness, and help.

Joann will not be forgotten by Nancy and I always enjoyed when she and Mike would come for their taxes. She was very funny and always kept us laughing with all her stories! What a sweet and funny lady, you could not help but love her. She liked when I gave her a gold star for her organizational skills. She is resting in the arms of our Lord, pain free and at peace. Until we meet again....

Sincere condolences to Mike on the loss of his wife. Although we didn’t know JoAnn well, we had some nice conversations in the driveway. She always seemed to be in a very upbeat mood. We always enjoyed talking to her.

We will miss JoAnn’s sense of humor and her generosity. You never knew what she was going to say when you stopped by the house for a visit! She was a caring person and would periodically send Mike down with little “gifts” that weren’t always good for our waistlines. Some of her gifts, including “my dog Spot” certainly put smiles on our faces. A few years ago we moved Sabrina’s mother in with us and JoAnn always looked out for her, especially when we were gone. They talked on the phone frequently. We shall miss her.
